Where We Are
The Sorrento hotel is situated in Corso Italia, only 500 metres from the beginning of the centre. Shops, restaurants and craft shops are just a short walk away.
The Gardenia Hotel is also conveniently located for Circumvesuviana trains running to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum, as well as buses going to the Amalfi Coast.
The port of Sorrento is just a few minutes away, and from here you can catch the ferry or hydrofoil to Capri and the other islands in the bay.

Form Naples Capodichino Airport
Take the bus or taxi to the main railway station in Piazza Garibaldi and follow the directions in the paragraph below. Curreri buses to Sorrento run frequently (approximately every two hours) throughout the day. Tickets cost €10 and can be purchased on the bus.
From Napoli Centrale (P.za Garibaldi) Rilway Station
For guests travelling by rail, the easiest way to get to Sorrento is to take the Circumvesuviana train from Napoli Centrale / Piazza Garibaldi railway station.
The journey from Naples to Sorrento takes about 70 minutes. Trains run every half an hour from 06.00 to 22.00 and tickets cost about €4. The hotel is about 600 metres from the train station in Sorrento. When you go out of the station turn right and walk down Corso Italia until you come to the hotel, at number 258. It takes about 10 minutes on foot. Alternatively, you can take a taxi (approximately €15) or the orange Circumvesuviana, line A or buses, line C (tickets cost €1,10). The bus stop is in Corso Italia (opposite Piazza Lauro, on your right as you come out of the station). Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding and are on sale at the newsagent’s or tobacconist’s inside the station.
By Car Southern Italia
From the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway exit at Castellammare di Stabia (the next exit after Angri). After the pay tollbooth, keep left and follow the blue signs to Sorrento. After approximately 2 km turn left up to the approach ramp to a fly-over which brings you onto a viaduct joining the SS145. The SS145 goes through 2 tunnels and runs alongside the slower road to Sorrento.
The third tunnel bypasses the town of Vico Equense, and after about 6 km you will come to the small town of Meta di Sorrento.
Continue along the main road (Corso Italia) which will take you through Meta di Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento and Sant’Agnello until you come to Sorrento (after a bridge).
