Beautiful hotel, recently updated, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Especial thanks to Tiziana, who is an absolute asset to the hotel, she is friendly, helpful and works extremely hard for the hotel. Our stay at this hotel was enhanced by the staff, but expecially Tizzy and we look forward to seeing her again next year.

Meine Lebensgefährtin und ich verbrachten im September 2026 zehn wunderschöne Urlaubstage im "Gardenia". Da wir öfter in vergleichbaren Vier-Sterne-Hotels Urlaub machen trauen wir uns ein Urteil durchaus zu. Es gibt wirklich fast nichts auszusetzen. Phantastische Küche, hervorragendes Personal und die Lage spricht ohnehin für sich.
Wenn man nun noch das Fernsehgerät von der traumhaften Terrasse verbannt und die Teller vom Hauptgericht anwärmt steht einem weiteren Besuch absolut nichts mehr im Wege

Simona and Antonino greeted us and made us feel very welcome at the Gardenia Sorrento Coast Hotel.

Check-in was a breeze thanks to Antonino, and Simona gave us great advice on what to do around town.

The bed is super comfy and the balcony was spacious with a view of the city.

The breakfast was superb - fresh croissants and donuts. Also included is a hot meal with Italian bacon and farm fresh eggs.

Everything was beautiful at this hotel. If you come to Sorrento you gotta stay at the Gardenia Sorrento Coast Hotel !!

Very lovely residence. Updated, clean and very comfortable. On a busy road but convenient to so many things. The pool area in the back is perfetto for family. Also, to the woman who cooks dinner in the hotel restaurant……fantastico!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel for our honeymoon. The pool area was excellent with plenty of sunloungers and a pool bar. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, providing us with towels for the pool and a discount on parking for our hire car (the car park is right next to the hotel). The location was perfect, just a 15 minute walk from the centre of Sorrento. Additionally, the room was clean, spacious and we liked the fact it had a small balcony so we could sit outside in the evenings. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in a great location.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel staff is so helpful and accommodating. The location is a little bit out of the Town Center but not bad if you're okay walking 1 km. The breakfast is very good and well attended by the staff. Be sure to enjoy the rooftop. Just go up and have a beer at sunset. It's really too bad they don't serve breakfast up there. It's a beautiful view.

The perfect start to our Italy trip—impeccable service and unforgettable hospitality!
Hotel Gardenia Sorrento was the very first stop on our 3-week journey moving north through Italy, and it set an incredibly high bar! For our first stay of many upcoming hotels, this one did not disappoint.
We arrived late in the evening, and the concierge was waiting to welcome us along with the chef, Tiziana. She greeted us with a homemade glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing after a long travel day and probably the best we’ve ever had!
The hotel itself is impeccably clean and fresh. The rooms are quiet and the beds are very comfortable. We loved the rooftop area, which offers a great view and a nice spot to sit, and there is also a lovely pool and access to a shared gym.
The breakfast buffets each morning, prepared by Chef Tiziana, were plentiful and delicious. I truly cannot say enough about her—on another evening when we returned late and tired after a long tour day, she graciously opened the kitchen early just to cook her specialties for us. Everyone at this hotel was friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful 4-night stay and highly recommend it!
