Renovated

Following its complete refurbishment in 2007, the Gardenia Hotel in Sorrento is now perfectly integrated into the local landscape and environment.

Gone is its rather dated 1960s look harking back to the period in which it was built, making way for a new contemporary feel. Renovation work included redesigning the interior and exterior using more gentle lines according to the canons of modern Mediterranean architectural styles and creating a harmonious ambiance with soft colour schemes.

The new functional layout of the whole building is enhanced by refined interior fittings and finishings in brass and marble, and the external facade is embellished with inserts of glazed lava stone masterfully produced by local craftsmen. Antonio Marino, architect.
