How to find us

Private transfer
For any information about our transfer service from Naples airport, port and railway station, as well as from other locations, please fill out the form on our Transfers page.

From Naples Capodichino Airport
Take the bus or taxi to the main railway station in Piazza Garibaldi and follow the directions in the paragraph below. Curreri buses to Sorrento run frequently (approximately every two hours) throughout the day.
Tickets cost €10 and can be purchased on the bus.

From Napoli Centrale (Piazza Garibaldi) Railway Station
For guests travelling by rail, the easiest way to get to Sorrento is to take the Circumvesuviana train from Napoli Centrale / Piazza Garibaldi railway station. The journey from Naples to Sorrento takes about 70 minutes.
Trains run every half an hour from 06.00 to 22.00 and tickets cost about €4.
The hotel is about 600 metres from the train station in Sorrento. When you go out of the station turn right and walk down Corso Italia  until you come to the hotel, at number 258. It takes about 10 minutes on foot.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi (approximately €15) or the orange Circumvesuviana, line A or  buses, line C (tickets cost €1,10). The bus stop is in Corso Italia (opposite Piazza Lauro, on your right as you come out of the station). Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding and are on sale at the newsagent’s or tobacconist’s inside the station.

By hydrofoil from Molo Beverello in Naples
Hydrofoils run between Molo Beverello (the ferry/hydrofoil terminal in Naples just opposite the Maschio Angioino castle) and the port of Marina Piccola in Sorrento. When you arrive at the port, take the orange Circumvesuviana bus to Piazza Tasso and there pick up a line A or line C bus. The bus stops 50 metres from the hotel (tickets must be purchased prior to boarding and are on sale at the newsagent’s/tobacconist’s at the port).

By car from Northern Italy
When you are between Caserta and Naples, drive along the motorway until the pay toll exit in Naples. After passing through the tollbooth, follow signs to the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway/Penisola Sorrentina. After about 20 Km, the slip road will bring you onto the motorway, leaving Naples on your right. You will have to pay a €1.50 toll at the entrance to the motorway (be careful not to get in any of the lanes saying “viacard” or “telepass” unless you have one of these prepaid cards or your car is equipped with an electronic toll collection device). Continue along the A3 motorway for 18 km and exit at Castellammare di Stabia (the next exit after Pompeii). After the pay tollbooth, keep left and follow the blue signs to Sorrento.
After approximately 2 km, turn left up to the approach ramp to a fly-over which brings you onto a viaduct joining the SS145. The SS145 goes through 2 tunnels and runs alongside the slower road to Sorrento. The third tunnel bypasses the town of Vico Equense, and after about 6 km you will come to the small town of Meta di Sorrento. Continue along the main road (Corso Italia) which will take you through Meta di Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento and Sant’Agnello until you come to Sorrento (after a bridge).
The  Gardenia Hotel is situated in Corso Italia on your right, just 200 metres after the bridge.

ATTENTION!: Between Caserta and Naples you will see a sign on your right indicating the A30 motorway. We do not recommend this route as it is over 40 km further than if you continue towards the exit at Castellammare di Stabia and takes longer.

By car from Southern Italy
From the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway exit at Castellammare di Stabia (the next exit after Angri).
After the pay tollbooth, keep left and follow the blue signs to Sorrento. After approximately 2 km turn left up to the approach ramp to a fly-over which brings you onto a viaduct joining the SS145.
The Gardenia Hotel  in Sorrento is situated in Corso Italia on your right, just 200 metres after the bridge.
